• TEACHER QUALITY: The State of California requires preschool teachers to have a minimum of 12 units (4 classes) in Early Childhood Development, ALL of our teachers have University (Bachelor’s) Degrees in Early Childhood Development.
  
  
• STAFF-TO-STUDENT RATIO: The State of California requires a maximum ratio of 12-to-1. Our ratio is 6-to-1.  Every Light of Christ preschool class has a dedicated Teacher’s Aide.

Preschool Accreditation, Licensing & Affiliations:
Light of Christ Lutheran Preschool is accredited by National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA). We are a School Ministry Partner in the Pacific Southwest District-LCMS and affiliated with the Lutheran Education Association. Our program is licensed by the California State Department of Social Services; License Number 300603211.

School tours are conducted on Thursday and Friday mornings at 10 am with the Director. The tours last 15 to 20 minutes and give you an opportunity to observe the staff and classes in action. We feel that it is important for you to meet the staff and experience our school atmosphere as you decide on the best preschool for your child. Bring your children for the tour! After November 1st we begin our Wait List for preschool enrollment for the following school year, September 2010 – June 2011. If you are interested in sending your child to Light of Christ Preschool next year, please call the Director for a tour and placement of your child’s name on our Wait List.
